Private yachts are those vessels that do not carry passengers for hire, not engaged in trade and solely being used for recreational purposes by its owner.
Private yachts less than 24 meters and under 20 years do not need to undergo pre-registration inspection. Please note that the Maritime Administration reserves the right to require an inspection to be carried out as deemed necessary.
